I have recently been promoted as product manager of an ongoing project workflow and management tool, which had some basic functionality done by an earlier team in PHP.
I wanted to move the product to Java, but top management resisted the move, and now, after a few months we have an excellent and marketable tool written in PHP.
What I am wondering is how good is this on my CV. Does PHP have market acceptance and so on?
