By DEREKHYPS ·
I went to config network and add "client services for Netware" on the new XP home pc's I bought. I get a message that no client files found. What directory may I browse to get files. Or..doesn't xp come with client for netware. We run NW4.11 ipx.

XP Home edition has NO networking capability whatsoever. You need to upgrade to XP Pro

I'm sure I could get XP home to log in to my server. I may have to get a client from novell.

This from the forums, Wouldn't hurt to DL the client from Novell and trying it.

"...Downloading the XP Pro Client for Netware from Novell I was able to get XP Home to work."

"The Novell Clients work perfect with XP Home. Not Supported. Stillwork fine."

"XP Home can not join a domain, as Professional can, but it can connect to a workgroup just fine."
