Does your network include any Macs?

By jasonhiner Moderator ·
A new TechRepublic poll askes, "Does your network include any Macs?
- Yes, we have Macs on the network
- No, but we're considering adding some Macs
- No, we don't have any Macs and don't intend to add any

Are there any Macs in your organization? If so, are they legacy Macs, Intel-based Macs, or both?

Yes we have mac's and were running a MS domain

So the two don?t play well together (especially an SBS domain). Despite what Mac fanboy's say. Basic functionality is easy to provide but hard for the end user (having to constantly enter their domain password does not provide a seamless work environment).

We have 4 PPC's (2 G4's and 2 G5's).

No advanced connections can be provided (like Exchange calendar sharing).

We are currently running admit mac but always not successfully. I have an x-serve I want to implement an ldap/workgroup environment onto anyone done this before. No it is not as easy as it sounds. We only have 60 macs to appx 3k of pc so this project never gets priority.
