Domain Controler Problem

I have a Problem where we have an old Domain controler that is no longer on our network. how do I remove it from active directory. every time i try to delete it from AD sites and services it tells me “the DSA object connot be deleted” does anyone have any qule how to get rid of that DC from AD or what that error means.
