Domain in a Domain

By ZDD ·
I am setting up a 2000 server with 2000 Exchange for testing purposed only. I want to set it up so some of the IS team can log-in to this test domain and send test messages and work with 2000 exchange to get a good feel for it. What is the easiest way to accomplish this without messing up my exsiting NT 4.0 network.

Thanks,

You should just create another NT domain (not within!). You could create an explicit one-way trust relationship (Exchange domain trusting your NT domain) and all should be fine. You will need to install and configure an W2K DC with Active Directoryin order to get Exchange 2K working.
Your NT domain should not be afected at all by doing it this way.
