I have this laptop using XP Pro & it had a company domain in which I was trying to eliminate the domain & use it at home on my workgroup, so I changed the computer name, so I thought & removed the domain & added a workgroup, but now when I boot up & it brings me to the windows log On screen. No password I use with administrator or my orginal screen name will work to allow me access. A friend of mine gave me Winternals ERD Commander 2005 & I’ve done what I thought I was suppose to do to reset admin password, but that isn’t working. I added the domain back, but I know since I’m not on the domain with the computer that may not work, so I’m at a lost. All I want to do is add this computer to my home workgroup, but now I can’t do anything.
Help would be greatly appreciated?
