I have an excisting NT4.0 domain, we are bringing up a win03 domain and need to have the NT4.0 trust the win 03 domain. I have been through all the posted documents on how to do this. The problem I am having is when I get to the win03 dom controller logged in as dom admin, I select new trust, put in nt4.0 domain name, it then asks me to auth. with the nt4.0 admin acct. it then says access denied and I never get to the part for the trust P/W, I have typed slowly and rechecked account names so we know info is being entered correct. I can ping each machine in both directions by IP and by name. any thoughts ??
