I have been bffled by this one for a while. We have a parent domain with children that reside on different subnets. We can run domain prep fine on child domains that are in the same subnet but when we try to run it on a different subnet it fails saying it cannot contact the schema master. I have verified DNS is working and dcdiag and nltest always run without errors. Please help.I have a test network and the same problem occurs. I do have sites and subnets created in AD sites and services with replication occuring every 15 minutes.
