    Domino R5 and Windows 2000

My organization is looking to upgrade from Notes 4.6.x to R5. In addition, our server group is looking to upgrade from NT 4.0 to Windows 2000. Has anyone experienced domino R5 on a Windows 2000 Server? If so, do you recommend upgrading both Notes and Windows NT at the same time?

I believe Lotus just released support for R5 only on 2000. I would upgrade to R5 first since Lotus is just coming out with 2000 support.

I am running Domino R5 on w2k server and it is working fine. I was in the same situation you are in. I just went for it and took the chance. I only put it on one of my domino servers though. But I have been running it since march with no problems.
The r5 client also work well with w2k professional. I would go for the upgrade of both.

      Good luck!
