I have a dos application which runs in full screen on WinXP. Once or twice a day, the screen will automatically go black and when the display reappears after a second, the application is running in a window. There are no apparent problems with the application itself as I can return it to full screen and continue working.
It doesn’t occur at any particular time of day, nor are there any interruptions from other applications that I can see (e.g. outlook, antivirus). Also, nothing listed in the event logs relating to this. I have a NVIDIA Riva TNT2 vide card and 17″ diamond view monitor. Look forward to your suggestions. Thanks.
