I came accross a problem where I need to restore an old DOS program from the backup diskettes. I don’t know which version of DOS was used to create the backup. The version that I used to restore the files was Ver. 6
It did not recognized the file. There are 3 diskettes that were created for this backup:
cc5014a.001 cc5014a.002 and cc5014a.001
I tried to expand the file, pkunzip file, thinking that perhaps it was condence in those forms, but with no luck. I have not used DOS in quite a long time so perhaps I’m missing a step, or I’m using the wrong program to restore this program. Can anyone please advice on the above Q and if possible let me know what other way can I use to restore or expand these files.
