DOS CMD "Choice" not recognized in W2K

Hi,
Does anybody know how to replace the DOS Command "choice" when running a BAT Job in Windows 2000?

You can get CHOICE.EXE to work in Win2K if you have the Win2K Resource Kit. It is in there.

Hi,
Choice is acually an exe file that is not included with win2k, but is (as the previous respondent says) available in the reskit. Win2k does however, have an incredibly useful addition to the set command - the /p switch, so adding

SET /P yourvariable=please enter a value, then press return...:

(you can add your own text after the =)

will display
please enter a value, then press return...:

and then assign whatever they type to your variable.
