Editing Commands

by glenstorm_98 In reply to DOWNLOAD: 70+ Keyboard sh ...

Bill,

Great stuff; seems to me that this information is harder to find in Mac help than it ought to be. (Enter "keyboard shortcuts" into 10.5's help, and you just get "no results". Yeesh.)

I would like to see added to this list the editing commands for applications that the OS provides those services for, like Mail and TextEdit. For example, command+ moves to the end of the line, as does control+E. Moving word-wise is done through option+[direction arrow], etc.

These are even harder to find than the regular keyboard shortcuts. I suspect they're based on EMACS. It would be helpful to have a definitive list.

Thanks...

-Dw
