Question 7: One year unemployed

In stead of leaving an 'open' year on your resume it is better to rever to it as a year you've been freelancing, while looking for another job. Heardly ever will a person sit still at home for one year and do nothing or something was really wrong.

Questions to ask during an interview.....

Interviews need to be a two way street. If you are listenig to the interviewer well, you will have questions to ask them in order to clarify what you heard. If it is a highly interactive interview (the best kind to have) then it is safe to tell them that your questions were answered throughout the interview. A safe question to ask at the end is "how quickly are you looking to fill this position". Also, if you really want to differentiate yourself from the crowd, you need to explain that you are very interested in the position and "how should I follow-up with you?". Good luck!
