All games?

That's a strong statement Jaqui. You don't like any games at all - checkers, chess, marbles - nothing?

I'll play chess, on a board, where you have to actually move pieces by hand.

or, better yet, the games involving whip and chains...and nudity and sex. >:)

And here I was thinking that you just loved the MS

Game called Windows. Never knowing if it's going to work the same way as the last time you shut the thing down and that's only an application not Windows itself.

Personally I find it interesting not knowing exactly what's going to happen on every reboot. But I'm being soooooooo good lately and only using Windows as I've began to loose all touch with Windows as I was using Debian far too much and accepting just how much better it was over Windows. Unfortunately most of my customers use Windows on their Desktops at least so I have to keep my hand in with it.

The latest trick that I've run across from MS is that with the last round of patches supplied earlier this month they are disabling quite a few Optical Drives once applied and breaking some of the not so well known CD/DVD recording programs. If you have Nero or Roxio Easy CD Creator you're right but anything else and your in serious trouble.

The original Halo

by JamesRL In reply to DOWNLOAD: Crush and impre ...

is a great game in both single player and multi player modes.

I don't know about Halo2 because its only out on the XBox console. Obviously it was developed on PCs and would play well on them (the XBox HW was a 733 Mhz Pentium 3 and a nVidia GeForce 2 graphics processor, much less powerful than most gaming computers today). But MS wants to promote the XBox at the expense of PC gamers....
