I’m glad I saw this. I could really use the pointers to help with my writing. Two things I do every month here at work: write memo at once to three times a month and wrtiting at least two summary reports.

It might seem obvious to experienced writers, but the practice of providing yourself the opportunity to edit your writing before you submit it or send it shouldn’t be overlooked or thought of as unnecessary or unimportant.
In order to emphasize this, I have even taken to always writing a first, or “preliminary,” draft in my word-processor, so that I am sure to edit my work, and THEN pasting it into my email program or wherever.

I was taught that companies can not own or be quoted as if they were owners. Smith Brothers said they would introduce new flavors. The marketing director at Smith Brothers said the Company would introduce new flavors. Think about this …. The U.S. Government said the war would be expanded. The President of the U.S. said the war would be expanded.

      enjoyed the article.
