I am running Exc.Srv. 5.5 on NT 4.0. I am experiencing problems when I download Offline Address Book remotely. When I connect to local network and choose “Work Offline” option It’s working. But when I tried to connect via RAS or via our WAN, download of OAB failed. Folder Syncronization is working in every situation. I read all related articles from MS. Usually they are about “search permission”. But we didn’t set this permission. Finally I tested our TCP/IP configuration. DHCP, WINSand DNS are working properly.
