I bought a camcorder from “a man in the pub” about a year ago. It looked like a bargain at the time as it appeared to be a Canon, and I only paid ?100. It is a Canomatic DV7000 but Canon do not produce such a model. When I first used it, and downloaded photos to my pc, I connected via USB, and the equipment was reognised as a “mass storage device” like a memory stick, and I had no difficulty downloading photos. I have done this several times without any difficulty.
Recently I connected via the USB port, but on this occasion, the device was recognised as a “digital camera” which requires drivers to be installed before I can proceed. I need drivers or a solution to resolve this situation, as the camera memory is now full.
I am using Windows XP Home.
