I’ve recently upgraded my computer from Windows XP Pro to Vista Ultimate. It was a rather simple process with only one minor bug (my NIC wouldn’t work but I still had my onboard that I now use). Now when I download the driver for it or any other file at all, I cannot seem to find the file. If I specify for Vista to save it some where, it will download but the file is never there (or anywhere). Am I missing something? Downloads are allowed under IE7 and I’ve tried downloading under protected and unprotected mode. I’ve turned off and on and back off UAC. Any suggestions?
