drag contact doesn’t insert data in word

by na_paul . Updated 25 years, 6 months ago

When we were using Office 97 and OUtlook 98 on WIndows 95 computers, we could drag a contact from outlook into a word documetn and the contact information (name, address, phone number) would be inserted into the word document.
Now with Office 2000 (both word & outlook) on our Windows 2000 Pro computers, doing this same action results in a contact object in the document.
Does anyone know if the old action can be restored?
Doesn’t Microsoft think people print & mail documents anymore?
