DRAM error orange light

I’m using a custom built computer with a K8 Triton Series GA-K8U AGP 8X motherboard and I am getting no startup, an orange light above my RAM which i has just added 2 gigs too so i has 2.5 gigs of ram. Then it only said i has 1.5Gigs so I wanted to get my moneys worth so i opened it up and took out the ram and put it back in (Obviously the computer was off) and now when i try to start it up it has the orange light and beeps continuosly, the troubleshooting in my Motherboards manual says it’s a DRAM error but npthing happened >_< any help? Do I need to buy new RAM? (god i hope not) I would prefer a response via email piratesownninjaz@gmail.com but you can post here also i'll try to check back. Please help 🙁
