Drive mapping duplicates itself

By aydan.sharff ·
A user has "I" drive mapped to a folder on NT server. His workstation is NT 4.0. This drive duplicates itself and uses up most of the letters available. His other drives do not duplicate. I think it duplicates everytime he logs on. Any ideas what may be causing this problem?

Did you try disconecting the mapped drive re-appling SP and then recreate the drive. Something is fishy about it. This is not a normal behavior.

Good Luck!

If you have Find Fast in the Startup folder on the workstation (either the user's or the All Users startup folder), remove it. This is one of the most likely causes of this behavior. Hope this helps!
