drive mapping problem

An error occured f:to \\Pserever\homedrive

Microsoft Windows Network : No more connections can be made to this remote computer at this time because there are already as many connections as the computer can accept.
this connection has been restored

I always encounter this error when more than 10 remote computer is accesing the same mapped drive.
what can I do so that as many connection i want to my mapped drive?

Sounds as if you are running XP Pro as the computer with the Mapped Drive and that error message is correct as XP Pro will only support 10 concurrent connections. If you want more than the 10 concurrent connections connected you'll need to either switch to a MS Server Platform with enough licenses to support as many clients as you have or use one of the Server Nix's that are available.

I believe HAL 9000 is correct. You will need to upgrade the operating system from a "workstation" version TO a "server" version. A host computer running 2k/xp pro can only host 10 concurrent sessions.

If you have too much users, you should consider setup Linux server and use samba on linux server. You will skip all license charges.

i have face this probleum.

Some computer are working normaly, but some are accured this probleum.
I have change the system time and configure the everyone add the (Change the system time) B'coz the probleum as accured.
Some system has right now, but some system as it is.

Pls replay me
