Drive mapping without logon

by fishlips . Updated 22 years, 11 months ago

Hi,
We need to map a share on a NetApps box for Big Brother to monitor drive status…the issue is that we don’t want to keep the Windows 2000 server logged on to keep the share mapped. The plan is that Big Brother will monitor drives local and the one mapped on said server for status. I have heard of two options; editing autoexec.nt, but no suggestion how; putting a script in the system startup directory, but no indication of where it may be located or name and on top of that how to make it run (perhaps using the first suggestion?). Halp would be greatly appreciated.
Ben
