Drive problem in XP Pro

I have recently loaded XP Pro on my home test machine, after it finished XP refuses to see any drive attached to my onboard secondary IDE channel. I have reformatted and reloaded the machine, XP is still unable to see drives attached to the channel.

I am running the following hardware setup:

MB: ASUS A7V-133
HD: Maxtor 20GB
RAM: 512 PC-133
Drives (Attached to secondary channel):
HP 9100 Series Burner
Iomega Zip 100

Any ideas, or thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
