where can I obtain a driver and application software for info scanner fb750 using windows xp

First, if you can provide the manufactures name, we can help you find their driver download page.

Second, if this scanner is more than 5 years old and connects to the parallel port, there may not be a XP driver available.

One of the "hidden" costs of switching to XP is that many older scanners and printers are either not supported, or have limited functionality under Windows XP.

My "rule of thumb" is that if the manufacture does not offer a driver download for XP, assume that you will need to replace the device.

I should have read your post closer in the first place.

Archived drivers are available here:

Since the drivers are only for Windows 3.11, Windows 95, and Windows NT, the bad news is that your present scanner will NOT function under XP.

You will need to buy a newer scanner.

The good news is that newer scanners have better color reproduction and higher image density.

A good USB 2.0 scanner will scan images much faster than your older scanner.
