I must have searched the entire Internet and I just couldn't find a driver for my Avance Logic soundcard. I am using the kernel 2.2.16 because that is the only kernel I could make my winmodem to work with so if you happen to stumble into some driverthat will fit my needs please let me know. Thanks.

Try www.realtek.com.tw go to products, choose Computer Peripheral & Multimedia ICs, then choose the ALS4000 under the Sound IC's header, at the bottom of the next page will be a link to the drivers. They appear to have drivers for all Win op sys. Hope this helps,
It would help if you'd say which distro you're using, but I'm pretty sure you're going to have endless problems with this card. I've never heard of anyone getting one working in Linux.
BTW, for the other answerer...he's looking for LINUX drivers.
Try the ALSA Project (Advanced Linux Sound Architecture). I had to go to them to get drivers for my Creative Labs SoundBlaster Live Platinum. They have a sound card matrix with all their supported cards for quick reference. Good luck!
