I loaded win2000 and downloaded “upgrade” for driver for soundblaster PCI196. Even after I downloaded and set up – the sound card will still not work. The system recognizes multimedia controller hardware but can not recognize the driver. Is there something I missed? (The system came up with 1 “Media” it can not recognize, and 1 “Multimedia” it can not recognize. At wit’s end.
