Driver for Modem after switching OS

Computer came with Win XP…switched to Win Pro 2000 and it won’t recongize the modem (doesn’t have the driver for)..can’t find the driver for this modem anywhere..it’s a SMART Modular Tech modem….where do I get a driver for this or do I just needto get a new modem?
