First try

entering Disk Management, choose Action from the menu bar, and choose Rescan disks.

Er, RAMDisk? They say it looks entirely like a hard drive to the OS, but if you see these in Explorer, but can't get them to show up in Disk Management, just rename them in Explorer.

Does this drive appear in the BIOS?

Sounds as if the drive isn't working if it's not in Drive Management.

What does Device Manager show?

It's just a RAM drive

created by software. Like the good old days, or a live CD.

If that was the case then

You would have to use the software that created the RAM Drive or Virtual Drive to change it's Drive Letter/s.

And it most certainly wouldn't appear in Drive Management as it's not a Physical Drive but something made in software.

I wouldn't think so, but

the vendor claims that it looks just like a regular hard drive to Windows and users. I just don't know to what extent this software is supposed to provide the illusion.

edit:
I was even going to try this app to see how it worked, but 2 different installers failed for different reasons, and I'm not going to bother fighting with them.

The website seems to mention everything besides Disk Management, though.

It's all about the hard drives.

by jeggae01 In reply to If that was the case then

It's not about the RAMDrive, i wasn't able to install it yet. I have partitioned my 320GB hard drive. Was just about to start changing drive letters for my drives C:, and E:

No primary drives on device manager

by jeggae01 In reply to Does this drive appear in ...

When i checked my device manager, it only displays the RAMdrive. The hard disk didn't appear. But i can use my PC normally, it's just that drives won't show up on disk management. It only shows my DVD ROM drive..

With Administrative Privileges?

If not that will be the problem as Limited Users don't have the rights to make changes like what you want to do.
