Dr.Watson's application errors

By shahina79 ·
Im asking the same question again. Hope to get an answer this time. When I run my pages in the explorer, frequently Dr.Watson's errors pop up terminating the application. The error message that I get is "An Application error has occured and an application log is being generated. Iexplorer.exe, Exception:access violation(0xc0000005), Address:0x70c8e7a4" I have service pack 6 installed in my pc.
These pages work well without errors in the computers having service pack4 & also works well in win98. what should I do to solve this problem?

try uninstalling the sp6 and see if the error stops. I guess you are working on WIN NT 4.0. check with the systems information tool - version conflict manager whether there are any errors in there with any new software you installed. Try uninstalling the recently installed softwares there are chances where you wouldnt have installed the softeware properly. Hope your problem is solved this time.
regards, Louis

I installed office 2000 SP2 for my Outlook 2000 recently (running NT 4.0 SP6a). The next time I opened Outlook I was told that a recently installed program may cause errors and would I like to fix it? Stupidly I said yes! Since then my IE has had similar errors. I've tried uninstalling IE and replacing with v5.01, 5.5 and 6 without any joy of the error going away.

I haven't had time to re-build my machine lately so I've used Opera to get round the problem.
