DSL Access or lack there-of

by flint59 . Updated 23 years, 2 months ago

I am having huge problems getting my home network to connect to DSL. I have 4 cabled terminations, a DSL router (D-Link), and a DSL modem. On the DSL Modem I have Power on, DSL and e-net. On the router I have power on and the 2 ports that are currently connected on.
I called my ISP they tell me that everything looks good on their end.
I called Alltell they said my signal strength looked great.
I called the ISP help desk and made 15 trips up and down the stairs, turning on and off and plugging and unplugging my router, modem and different computers.
I have a static IP address for the router and am auto-detecting IP addresses on each of the 2 computers on the network.
I have tried going straight from the modem to each of the terminations on the network.
I’m getting a bit CRANKY and want my DSL – how hard can this be?
