I have installed an Intel DSL internal modem for DSL service, and have had download speeds of 7K/sec. (similar to the same speeds that i reveived with a 56K modem) The line is trained for 640K connection, meaning that my speed should be closer to 70K. The phone techs, and the DSL techs have checked the lines, even in my house and tests are good.Where is there a place in W98SE for me to alter whatever default is being used to throttle my connection to the same as a 56K. and how would I go about doing it?
