DSL Network Home Office.

by shanghai sam . Updated 24 years, 2 months ago

I have 2 desktops that require 24\7 networking & 1 laptop that needs only part time connection-I would prefer it to also be fulltime. I have DSL through QWEST. My problem is that the only way I can connect these to the internet is by unplugging two from the cat5 cable. If I even turn on a second computer, a message pops up telling me that, basically, another computer is trying to access the same connection & it shuts the second one down (connection to the internet). Then I have to disconnect the first computer, manually insert the ip add., DNS,etc. on the 2nd computer in order to access the internet the next time. QWEST does not support networks so is of no help. This is very critical to fix as I have a home business that is now impossibleto run efficiently- if at all.
