Are you sure cable modem's are not available?
I know dsl is still expanding, but cable is everywere phones are now!
also watch sat-dish types most require a phone line for up loads (up load at max of phone modem)
the olny one you didn't list was wireless (cell phone) but there slow
cable is your best bet if your local cable company will help

hope it helps

If you don't have DSL or Cable available, check into DirectPC, the satellite system, or check with your phone company for ISDN. DirectPC will download extremly fast, but upload is through the phone. I have a friend that works at Hughs, the compant the runs DirectPC and it seems to work well. ISDN will give you 128k max, but it, and the phone company can be a pain to deal with. Try contacting some local ISP's and see what options they give you.
Hope that helps.

Call your phone company or an ISP about getting a frame relay circuit installed. You can get a 128k frame circuit with a direct ISP connection for under 200 bucks in most areas, It is mileage based so if you live far from the CO it will be more.
