Dual Boot

By keifercom ·
I have done a dual boot with Windows XP and Windows 2K. The trouble is I have a Dell PC and it has the selection of boot from Hard Drive C, which won't allow one of the drives to boot. How do I get the dual boot to work?

There are 3 ways to get your system to dual boot.

Install a boot utility such as System Commander from V-Com. www.v-com.com

If the XP drive is the C: drive, edit the boot.ini file to include the option to boot to W2K on the drive.
There is a good reference to the boot.ini commands at www.systeminternals.com

If XP is on the drive, you may need to perform a re-install or repair install of XP. If you install XP from within W2K, XP will automatically set up the system to dual boot.
