dual boot

I recently upgraded my Wim ME based system to Win XP using a clean install. I am very happy with the new OS,but, am unable to install and run the Nortel Networks extranet client software that my hospital uses for VPN. I have Partition Magic 7.0, can I install this program when booted to WinME without the other OS “seeing” it and it causing conflicts?
