Hello all!
I’ve just acquired a new PC and intend to set up network at home. My
new PC has WindowsXP Home Edition installed. However, this version
of XP offers limited networking functions (for example, no remote
access, no encryption facilities), unlike the Professional edition.
My question is: as I want to have priviliges similar to those you
get with Windows 2000 Server, should I install Windows 2000 on my
PC, and if I do so, can I install it alongside XP or will
Windows2000erase XP from my system? And in the latter case, do you
think I would be losing much in getting rid of XP?
