i first had NT installed, then i installed 98 on the same hard drive partition. everything works fine, but 98 will not allow me to shut down. i get the logo screen with “windows is shutting down”. tried most of the usual fixes, nothing. is my only choice to reformat the whole drive, install 98 first on its own partition, then nt on another?
