I’m trying to dual boot several computers (for the A+ class I teach). In some cases I was able to install WIN98SE and then WIN2000 Professional and in several others, WIN2000 complained that Drive C: was corrupted and could not be repaired.
I tried repartitioning and formatting with WIN2000 (FAT32) and then reformatting with 98. That worked in a couple of cases. In the cases where it didn’t work, I was able to reinstall WIN98 but got the same result when trying to install WIN2000 Professional.
Does anyone know what could cause this? I’m going to try Partition Magic next, but does anyone know a way to do this with Windows utilities?
Thanks for any help.
