dual boot w2k Pro / w2k Server

By wdebbaut ·
Is this possible ? I've tried to do so but failed. I have w2k pro then tried to install w2k Server on a different parition but during the last part of the text-based install phase, he couldn't install NTLDR, etc.
Thanks for advice

dual boot w2k Pro / w2k Server

by ChrisSaw In reply to dual boot w2k Pro / w2k S ...

Because systems files are the same, you need to install first on the main partition a boot manager. Personnaly, I use mstboot meaning multi system boot. You need to install it first and on a DOS partition. On my laptop, I have one disk with three partitions. My C: drive has 500 mb. I have Windows 98 SE, Winnt 4.0 Workstation, Win2K Pro, Win2K Server and Dos 6.22 installed on drive . Mstboot is able to manage all of them.

Hope it help.
