I need to dual boot between DOS and Windows 2000 Pro but I also want to take advantage of FAT32. So I installed Win98 in a command line mode (ie. FDISKd the hard drive and FORMAT c: /s). After fixing up the AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS (and what not), I installed Windows 2000 Pro onto the same partition (different directory). Everything seems OK except that the Win98 DIR command doesn’t list all of the files. If I EDIT a file, it will show up. Adding the /a:a parameter lists more but not everything. Booting to an actual Win98 Startup disk produces the same results. What am I missing?
