Dual Core and Dual core2 processor

Sir I want to know the diff between Dual Core and Dual core2 processor. Could u help me with it?

Intel Dual Core and a Intel Core 2 Duo the difference is when they where made.

The Core 2 Duo is a newer model than a Dual Core but otherwise other than the amount of L2 Cache involved there is no difference.

If you are comparing a Intel to a AMD the difference is entirely a Marketing Exercise by the different makers.

They are two different processor familes

Dual Core processors are part of Intel Pentium Processor family whereas Core2 Duo processors are part of Inter Core2 Duo processors family. They are two separate technolgies which are embedded in the processors.
