I’m trying to use Synergy to create a dual display for my laptop and desktop computers. Both programs are connected, as indicated by icons, but I can’t get the displays, mouse, keyboard to work together. Through playing with it the message, ‘cannot open primary screen’ appears. I’ve tried playing with the monitor settings in XP, but this doesn’t seem to work. My laptop is running Vista. I’ve also had a similar problem in trying to set up MaxiVista. I would appreciate any help.
