I’m trying to install a sql based app at a clients base, however, my app and db were written to a SQL 2008 SRV2 back end but the client has installed SQL 2008 R2 and the app isn’t working when I install and point to his instance of SQL.
I have an eval copy of SQL2008 that I want to install onto his tin as a 2nd instance of SQL and test the app to make sure it’s not other part of his server build that is the problem
Can I install “SQL2008” onto a Windows 2008 R2 that already has “SQL 2008 R2” on it?
