Ok, here is what I have:
2ea dual 10/100/1000 lan vista sytems
1ea dual 10/100 lan xp system
1ea Belkin Wireless G mimo router
1ea Trendnet 1gb switch
1ea Aris cable modem
I want to have the systems access the wan from one set of network ports and the lan from the other. I have configured 1 set of lan ports for dhcp (from the Belkin router) and the other set of lan ports to static 10.1.1.x It all works, but, when I transfer files locally, I see no activity from the lan switch, only the router. This indicates to me that the data is not going through my 1gb switch. What am I doing wrong?
