I have a strange problem that I just cant figure out. I am trying to set up the dual monitors but I am having such weird issues. At work the BIOS turn off the onboard and just use the pci but i am having just the opposite..ish. Both monitors are working independently as they should but they look like crap. NVidia controls one and Onboard controls the other. Ok weird but It wouldn’t bother me that much if they didn’t look like crap. I can configure the settings for each one but NVIDIA side is calling the monitor a CRT and when i click in advanced for the monitor properties it says no driver files have been loaded for this device. when i use the nvidia control panel it names the LCD screen but still calls it crt and I have no color profiles. The colors are icky and the fonts too small.
Now onboard side… Color is really nice but same issues with the drivers and it is calling the monitor plug and play. I have gamma config and 3d config but no S3Color Plus. The Bios will not override the VGA. So I updated the drivers for the video cards and i got more problems. After I updated Windows X’d the onboard so leaving only NVIDIA however, I couldnt use that monitor anymore. I rolled back the onboard driver so i can use both but they are ugly and also i have to render only on onboard side becasue nvidia is going to slow any help.
Oh and I even manually tried to dump the color profile from the monitors into the nvidia control panel but its still being stupid. I heard one rumor that If I nix NVIDIA and get PCI Express I wont have these problems.
