INSTALL ME IN THE BOOT HD, USING A FAT32 PARTITION. THEN INSTALL XP BOOTING FROM HD1 (FAT32) AND PLACE ALL FILES IN HD2.

XP INSTALLATION WILL PLACE THE OS SELECTION AT BOOT TIME.

HOPE IT HELPS...

The easiest way is to start is to have two partitions, have ME installed first on the first partition and when you're done there, boot using a bootdisk (you can make one in the add/remove applet in the control panel). After booting into dos with that disk, put in your XP CD, go to the i386 directory and run winnt. The first thing you'll see is the directory you just ran that from, just leave it alone becaue that's where all your files are and let it proceed. When you get to the point where it'll ask where you want to install, install XP on the other partition.

When you're done, you should have a boot.ini created for a menuing to boot into XP or ME.

Good luck to you

Mark
