Ive got a motherboard that supports dual Pentium II processors. Right now Ive got 1 350 mhz CPU in there and it works fine. I got ahold of another 350 mhz processor and Im wondering:
-What would be the advantage of installing this?
-Do I need toinstall extra drivers? Change something in the CMOS? BIOS? Jumper Settings?
-Would the second CPU work simultaneosly or would it just pick up the overflow? What would the processor speed be equivilent to? or does this all depnd on the application. or the motherboard?
The manual that came with the motherboard doesnt say anything about the advantages, disadvantages, or method for installing a second CPU, but it does mention that its possible. The companys website was equally unhelpful, although I havnt called their tech support yet.
