Dumping physical memory

recently i changed the NIC on my server and afterwards the machine keeps rebooting after dumping physical memory.
i seem not to know what is wrong. I run Win2k Advanced Server on the machine.

While there are many things that *could* be wrong, based on what you said I can tell you what I'd do: Swap that NIC immediately. If that's where the problem started I sure wouldn't risk my server and data for a <$50 piece of hardware. What you're seeing may well be a hardware conflict or issue and you seem suspicious of the Network card. Get it out of the box before you face a much bigger problem. If you put in another nic tested good elsewhere and the problem persists, then its time to troubleshoot further. I'll be glad to lend a hand if that's the case. Just let me know.

After installing the NIC,you may not have the updated drivers for the card,go to the manufacturers web site and download the lastest drivers,then reinstall the card with the W2K driver.
